Lancaster-based IT support specialist, Q2Q, has bolstered its customer offering by appointing voice, video, networks and infrastructure expert, Vapour Cloud as its cloud-based solutions partner.
Having worked as the bolt-on IT department for organisations throughout the North West of England since 2004, Q2Q has seen a rise in demand for bespoke and innovative IT provision. With so many businesses undergoing a digital transformation, experiencing fast growth or seeking peace of mind, clients are looking for a partner that can offer up-to-date, robust security.
Having welcomed four new customers in 2019 – and with that number expected to rise in 2020 – it was important to Q2Q to futureproof their own provision. Anticipating the shift in demand, Vapour Cloud’s expertise will further bolster the firm’s ability to close deals.
Commenting on the partnership, Q2Q’s MD Lorna Stellakis said: “We’ve worked hard to create a loyal customer base – one we want to continue to grow – and it’s important to us to offer a broad range of solutions to these individuals.
“My role as MD is to ensure we’re making the IT provision for multiple SMEs as seamless and efficient as we can, so they can focus on running their own company – rather than worrying about how to connect their laptop to the office printer.
“However, by looping in Vapour Cloud, it also provides the Q2Q family with access to next-level cutting-edge tech solutions, while maintaining just one point of contact – ultimately making their lives easier.”
“We also admire companies that show integrity,” Lorna continued, “I won’t work with another brand unless I see that early on in the relationship. Vapour Cloud operates in a very similar way to Q2Q, and I’m sure this will be a long and successful collaboration as a result.”
Damien Gelder, senior support analyst at Q2Q IT added: “In today’s constantly evolving technical landscape, it’s important for firms to partner with other trusted brands in order to remain best in breed.
“Our customer requirements are changing on almost a daily basis. Clients are hearing about something one company has, combining that with a solution they’ve seen elsewhere and coming up with a hybrid product they want to be delivered. But they don’t want the headache of seeking out multiple, unfamiliar suppliers.
“Q2Q is a relatively small team but we’ve got an incredibly broad user base. As much as we would love to, we can’t invest in everything new tech-wise, as it might only suit a handful of our customers. Luckily, Vapour Cloud has that at its fingertips, and now we can tap into the elements we need, as and when we need them.
“As such, we’re now able to offer a heightened level of service to our clients, without having to move away from the day-to-day support we know – and deliver – so well.”
