Damien Gelder, who was part of the original team before it was even Q2Q, started as a 1st Line engineer and now heads up our entire support team and manages the relationship with new and existing clients.
Harrison Burke, who joined us as an apprentice at just 18 years old, has advanced through Junior Techie, 1st Line, and 2nd Line, to now the Core Team Leader.
Ash Williams began as a 1st Line Techie, progressed to Senior, and is now the Senior Team Leader.
Tom Jackson, who started his journey as a Junior Techie, has climbed the ranks to become a 2nd Line Techie.
Phil Irwin joined as 1st Line Techie and is now our Helpdesk Co-ordinator alongside still assisting clients with 1st Line technical solutions.
Both Ben Biss and Will Woods joined us as Juniors and quickly moved up to 1st Line techies, and it won’t be long before they progress to 2nd Line.
Whilst we may be a relatively small team of sixteen, it’s clear that we’re truly focused on harnessing talent and creating opportunities for the team to learn and grow.
Our work culture is built on key values like collaboration, responsibility, and fun. As Damien puts it, working here feels like being part of a family with shared goals and a supportive environment. Harrison, who’s been with Q2Q since he was 18, can’t imagine working anywhere else, and Ash appreciates how everyone looks out for each other, making Q2Q a great place to work.
